The Minifig' Jo-Jo and Frikke wants to travel the world and see all it's sights. And a few other Lego mini-fig related bits and pieces. How far can they go in 365 days? How many places can they visit? How many people can they get to know? Here you can follow the journey of Jo-Jo and Frikke the minifig'. They started off in April 2008 from Vangede, Gentofte in Denmark. And here we hope to document their whole journey in pictures and words... Enjoy!!! Copyright on all material.
Sirexkat is travelling a lot and her sons made her take LEGO minifigs with her on her travels:
The team is back from Mexico in a brand new box! They had food with them and on arrival they met a new friend from LEGOworld Copenhagen Denmark. He is leaving soon for Mexico.
The team it self are leaving for Greenland, next!
Went to check at lead in Northern Jutland, Denmark.
At the only 'palm' beach in Denmark in the village of Hvalpsund there were no signs...
So we did hire Odin the Crane to get us up - 40 meters - to check the area from the skies - but still no signs og Jo-Jo and Frikke. And, darn we forgot our binoculars so we could not see that far (and it was cloudy and misty).
The Mini-figure turns 30 this year - Congrats'!
All over the web the Mini-figure is celebrated and praised.
You can start Happy 30th birthday (Brothers Brick)!, Wikipedia! or Lego Minifigure turns 30!
On the picture below Johannes is displaying his collection of 241 mini-fig's. Today it is al little bigger and who knows, maybe it will be even larger next month. He turns six!
The record has been acknowledged as the biggest collection of mini-fig's in Denmark for a 5 year old. The book, 'Børnenes Recordbog' will be published in October 2008.
